Measurement techniques of the sensitivity functions to characterize the vibroacoustic response of panels under random excitations

چکیده
This study aims at developing an experimental method for characterizing the vibroacoustic behaviour of panels excited by random pressure fields. Although the method would be theoretically applicable to any stationary and homogeneous random process, diffuse acoustic field (DAF) and turbulent boundary layer (TBL) excitations are considered in this study. The interest of industrials towards these excitations has grown over the years because the associated test means (i.e. coupled chambers or wind tunnel) can hardly be controlled, are subjected to large variabilities between laboratories and are very expensive. The proposed method allows to experimentally characterize a panel under such excitations by separating the contribution of the excitation and the mechanical behavior of the panel. The mathematical formulation of the problem states that the vibroacoustic response of a baffled panel at any point x (belonging to the acoustic domain or located on the panel) can be described by a cross spectral density (CSD) function

Analytical vibroacoustic modeling of an elastic Rayleigh beam using Green's function
The purpose of this article is to provide an analytical model of the vibroacoustic for an elastic beam submerged in low subsonic flows with mean velocities. In general, vibroacoustic modeling refers to the combined effects of sound propagation and mechanical vibration of the structure. Sound radiations from submerged structures are coupled with physical phenomena because the sound pressures act...
متن کاملTransient Nonlinear Vibration of Randomly Excited Cylindrical Shallow Panels in Non Aging Viscous Medium
In this paper, the nonlinear transient vibration of a cylindrical shallow panel under lateral white noise excitation is studied. The panel is in contact with a non aging viscoelastic medium. Since the external load is a time varying random wide band process, deterministic and conventional approaches cannot be used. Instead, the evolution of the probability density function of the response is in...
متن کاملEvaluation of the Seismic Response of Single-Story RC Frames under Biaxial Earthquake Excitations
This paper summarizes the lessons learned from a full-scale test on two RC frame prototypes that have recently been tested on LNEC shaking-table using four pairs of biaxial synthetic ground motion records during 15WCEE Conference (2012). The reference structures are two single-story RC frames which are geometrically identical but with different reinforcement details. The simplified inelastic mo...
متن کاملInvestigating the effect of pseudo-static components on bridge structures under multiple support excitations using conditional simulated records
Long-span bridges, as vital structures, play a very important role in economic development. Furthermore, the results of several earthquake-damaged bridges showed that their seismic behavior was different from that predicted under uniform excitation and in some cases the responses were more than predicted results. Therefore, the damaged bridges under non-uniform excitations were re-analyzed and ...
متن کاملAnalytical D’Alembert Series Solution for Multi-Layered One-Dimensional Elastic Wave Propagation with the Use of General Dirichlet Series
A general initial-boundary value problem of one-dimensional transient wave propagation in a multi-layered elastic medium due to arbitrary boundary or interface excitations (either prescribed tractions or displacements) is considered. Laplace transformation technique is utilised and the Laplace transform inversion is facilitated via an unconventional method, where the expansion of complex-valued...
